About My Clients
I work best with teens and adults who seem capable on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck inside. You may overthink, second-guess yourself, struggle in relationships, or be moving through a major life change. My clients often want a space where they can be honest, feel understood, and learn practical ways to feel calmer, more confident, and more like themselves again.
My Background and Approach
I am a Texas LPC-Associate with an M.Ed. in Counseling and Development from Lamar University, practicing under the supervision of Amy Culberson, LPC-S. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I use person-centered therapy to create a space where you feel heard and respected, and CBT to help you understand the thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. I work with anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I do not expect you to arrive with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what feels hardest right now and work together toward greater clarity, confidence, healthier patterns, and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as your full self without judgment or pressure to perform. I value honesty, compassion, autonomy, inclusion, and respect for each person’s lived experience. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself, make choices that fit your values, and build a life that feels more sustainable and authentic. I strive to offer affirming care to people of different identities, backgrounds, relationships, and life experiences.
