I have experience working with DBT, CBT, Narrative, and Solution Focused Therapy. By focusing on what is present, we can step away and determine just how we want to react. People are very concerned with how they react, but it's when you understand why the reaction happened that we can learn how to view ourselves differently.
My Background and Approach
My approach is very client-based and person-centered therapy. The relationship between client and therapist is very important in the journey to a better overall well being. Congruency is a key factor in understanding what opportunities can be used to better understand our values, strengths and perspectives to grow with the world around us.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the human spirit and what can come with investing in ourselves. If we can stay present and invest in ourselves, we can return that investment and give back to the world around us.
