About My Clients
I counsel adult individuals only. I enjoy and have experience in working with adults dealing with a range of issues including grief, anxiety, depression, coping skills, social skills, ADHD, anger management, mood disorders, sexual issues, relationship issues, and spiritual issues.
My Background and Approach
I’m just an easy going, positive counselor here to help in whatever way I can. I’m open to hearing about anything going on in your life. I regularly use solution-based, client-centered, and cognitive-behavioral approaches in my practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that if we aren’t growing and evolving as people, then we’re dying. I learn new things daily from my patients and I’d like to learn from you as well. I grew up in a Southern Baptist home but my career has opened my eyes to the ways in which growing up so religious changed my view of people. I’ve been in the counseling realm for 13 years now and have learned to be curious not judgmental with every person I come across. Every person is so different and has a different story to tell.
