About My Clients
I work with children (ages 5+) and families who are facing tough challenges—like trauma, anxiety, ADHD, bullying, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting effects of abuse or neglect. I support young people who feel misunderstood, stuck, or overwhelmed, helping them build confidence, emotional tools, and a stronger sense of self. I also work closely with caregivers to ease parenting stress and family conflict, offering both individual and family therapy when needed.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over eight years of experience supporting kids, teens, and families. I hold a Master of Social Work from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Social Work with a Minor in Psychology from Indiana State University. My background spans a variety of settings, including family preservation and reunification programs, child abuse and neglect prevention services, early childhood programs, family support services, and public elementary schools. I know life can get messy, and asking for help isn’t always easy. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, judgment-free space where your child—and you—can show up exactly as you are. We’ll focus on uncovering strengths, understanding challenges, and building practical tools that fit your family’s unique needs. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling more supported, connected, and hopeful about what’s ahead.
