About My Clients

I work with women who overthink everything. You may look capable, independent, and put-together, while internally your brain rarely turns off. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, worry about making the “wrong” choice, and ask others what they think—only to question their answers too. You may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship concerns, or trusting yourself, even though you’re incredibly self-aware.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes insight is important—but knowing why you do something doesn’t always help you feel or respond differently. My approach is warm, conversational, practical, and deeper when it needs to be. I integrate EMDR, IFS/parts work, and emotion-focused approaches to help us work with both what’s happening in your life now and the experiences, beliefs, and protective patterns underneath it. We might interrupt an overthinking spiral one session and explore the part of you that believes everything will fall apart if you stop trying so hard the next. Before becoming a therapist, I spent eight years as a personal trainer, which shaped my appreciation for the connection between mental health, our bodies, and how we care for ourselves. Therapy with me isn’t about becoming a perfectly healed person who never worries. It’s about building enough self-trust that anxiety and uncertainty no longer get to make every decision for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe you can be incredibly self-aware and still feel stuck. You can understand where your anxiety comes from, recognize your patterns in real time, and still find yourself replaying the conversation at 11 p.m. I don’t believe the goal of therapy is to eliminate every uncomfortable feeling or make the “right” decision every time. I believe it’s learning to trust yourself enough to tolerate uncertainty, make imperfect choices, set boundaries, have hard conversations, and keep living even when your brain wants another three-hour meeting. I also believe therapy should feel human. There’s room for humor, honesty, curiosity, and being challenged—not just clinical language and nodding. You don’t need to optimize every part of yourself. Sometimes growth looks less like becoming a better version of yourself and more like finally feeling safe enough to stop trying so hard.
