About My Clients
I work a lot with individuals navigating significant life transitions. My clients often come to me when they’re facing challenges like adjusting to new stages in life, coping with grief, or addressing issues unique to women’s experiences. Because of this, the clients I work with are typically searching for clarity and direction during times of uncertainty. They’re used to managing their lives effectively, but now they find themselves needing support to move forward.
My Background and Approach
My approach combines evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, holistic perspective. With a BA in Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University, I combine my formal education with a diverse range of holistic and creative therapies to support my clients. I believe that healing is a deeply personal journey, and I integrate methods such as art therapy, nature therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive methods into my practice. These innovative techniques help my clients explore their emotions, manage stress, and connect with their inner selves in profound ways. I work with individuals of all backgrounds, offering a safe and supportive environment to address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and personal growth. My compassionate and open-minded approach has made me a trusted guide for those seeking unconventional paths to wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been in my own therapy for many years and understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship in a healing journey. I have been diagnosed with 6+ diagnoses and struggle to accept them daily. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and support all important civil rights movements. If I wasn't allergic to dogs I would volunteer at an animal shelter but housing my two rescued dogs for now will do!
