About My Clients
"Vulnerable people are powerful people."- Amy Poehler. It can be hard to find places in life where we can simply just be. We often carry the weight of familial, relational, occupational, or societal pressures and expectations, leading us to feel as if we have lost ourselves or as if our wants, needs, and experiences do not matter. I look forward to helping my clients see their worth and work through mental health challenges.
My Background and Approach
I have provided both short term and long term therapy, depending on the setting and needs of client. I have experience in outpatient and inpatient settings and previously provided school based mental health services to youth ages 5-18. I have training in family therapy therapy as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people deserve to know they are cared for and loved and that when we provide spaces for people to feel safe, we will be able to see their greatest potential. I hope to provide a space for my clients to be authentic and to help them grow towards their goals! My office is a nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences. As a survivor myself, like to advocate for survivors of sexual abuse/assault and use my social platforms to bring to light the struggles we go through. I love to read, go on hikes and walks, and of course I'm not immune to the occasional Netflix binge! I've also recently learned to longboard!
