I work with client's experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, gender dysphoria, identity issues, life transitions, and overall wellbeing. I am committed to providing anti-oppressive care and approach therapy as a collaborative relationship to support each client in reaching their unique goals. My Background and Approach
I have worked with adults in a variety of settings. In my professional experiences, I work within a social justice framework that recognizes the ways systems of oppression marginalize individuals and communities. This social justice lens informs the work I do with my clients, to empower and uplift their stories and experiences. My clinical training and approach draws on varying theoretical orientations such as attachment-based and psychodynamic theories. I utilize these approaches to support clients in understanding how the past has shaped their current beliefs, patterns, and worldview. I utilize aspects of Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness approaches throughout the therapeutic process to support clients in achieving their goals. In sessions, I also like to be creative, go for walks, write, draw, listen to the songs you’ve been playing on repeat and redefine what recovery and therapy means for you.
