About My Clients
The people I work with often come in saying some version of, "I know what's wrong. I just don't know how to change it." They're capable, self-aware, often the most put-together person in the room, and quietly exhausted underneath. Many have done therapy before and are ready to go deeper. I work with adults navigating anxiety that doesn't quiet down, relationship patterns that keep repeating, and the long work of unlearning what early experiences taught them about closeness, safety, and worth.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Miami Beach, working with adults in person and virtually throughout Florida. My background is relational and I'm trained in EMDR. Through integrative trauma-informed therapy, we blend somatic practices, attachment-based work, parts work, mindfulness, and values-based work. I draw from what your system needs and what you bring in, and I never push past what your system can hold. EMDR helps reprocess specific memories or long-standing patterns that haven't shifted through insight alone. Somatic work builds your relationship with your nervous system, so what's been stuck in the body has space to move. Attachment-based work uses the therapy relationship itself as a place where new ways of relating to closeness, trust, and need can take shape. Parts work meets the protective parts of you that have been doing their job a long time. Mindfulness and values work ground it all in what matters
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we heal in secure relationships. The therapeutic relationship is foundational, and a meaningful part of what makes change possible, especially for the patterns that formed in earlier relationships and have shaped how you connect to yourself and others ever since. I believe you are the expert of your own mind and your own life. My role isn't to tell you who you are or what to do. My role is to be a mirror, to help you meet the parts of yourself that have felt out of reach, and to walk with you as you find your way back to them. I believe insight alone isn't always enough. Real change often happens at the level of the body and the nervous system, which is why I work the way I do. I believe in meeting people without judgment, including the parts of you that you've been hard on. Every protective part of you formed for a reason. Knowing the reason changes the relationship. And I believe therapy should feel real. Not performed, not clinical, not distant. Real, collaborative, human.
