About My Clients
You desire emotional well-being, healing & inner peace. Achieving your goals can look like: using effective coping skills when in distress, overcoming grief & pain, having healthier relationships & healing your “inner child”. My lived experiences help me connect with my clients more deeply. As a client, you can expect to better balance your intersecting identities. We will work collaboratively to meet your goals. There is power in vulnerability. You will be supported in a safe space.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy working with college students, professionals, adoptees, generational trailblazers, BIPOC individuals, minorities, marginalized groups, first generation & immigrants. I am passionate about helping my clients identify, normalize & process their feelings to better thrive. My area of specialization is attachment, complex & developmental trauma, particularly adoptees. I've received the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Phase I training as well as Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) and Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Trauma Treatment for Children & Adolescents. I am also EMDR trained and Brainspotting Phase I trained. I am Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed. I tailor therapy/interventions based on YOUR needs and goals. During the therapeutic journey, you will be validated, challenged and encouraged to grow. If any of the above resonates with you, please reach out.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a minority identifying therapist, I strive to create a safe healing space for my clients. It’s important to elevate all voices and stories, especially ones that haven’t felt heard before or that have been muted in the past. I support and advocate for causes that strive for social, economic, racial/ethnic, personal identity, religious and body autonomy justice.
