About My Clients
Anxiety, depression, bipolar, and trauma may feel like confusion, overwhelming sadness, irritation, feeling empty and "blah", anger, and swings of mood that affect every area of your life and your relationships. Post-partum depression can often be riddled with shame, inadequacy on top of the depression and anxiety. Your wellbeing is an investment and a gift to yourself and your loved ones. Thankfully, there are effective treatments and management of anxiety and mood disorders.
My Background and Approach
While I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management, I also incorporate therapeutic models in getting to know you as an individual and factoring your life experiences in our treatment plan. I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in lifespan Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track from the University of Florida, home of the Gators. I have worked with veterans, children and adolescents, and adults with the treatment of conditions such as bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, dysthymia, depression, anxiety, autism, and adjustment disorders. And have worked in both the hospital and in outpatient settings. I am passionate about working with parents and parents-to-be as parents are instrumental to the family system and the wellbeing of the family unit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal is to reduce fragmented care by providing accessible psychiatric care online, where ever you are. No more congested traffic or long drives, waiting room, missing work or school. Online psychiatry is privacy-friendly and customizable. By not accepting third-party payers, it allows us to keep our rates low and erases the limitation insurance may place on the care. You can still choose to use your insurance for medication and lab coverage. You may request a superbill if you would like to submit to your insurance for reimbursement of qualified out-of-network benefits.
