My Background and Approach
Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University. Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry from Icahn School of Medicine. Adult Psychiatry residency from Nassau Universiry Medical Center. I primarily do medication management but often incorporate therapeutic techniques like supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive and behavioral skill building, and psychodynamic principles into my medication management appointments.

I provide patient-centered, empathic, and individualized care. I strongly believe social and medical factors impact your quality of life. I spend time discussing your relationships, work, nutrition, physical health and more. My goal is to evoke positive change from within you.
