About My Clients
I have long experience of working with different ages, from 2 to 80 years of age, with multiple Physical and Mental Health Conditions. I worked as a bedside Patient Care Assistant, a PASRR Lead Evaluator, a Registered Behavior Technician at Action Behavior Center, and as an Adolescent Therapist. I have experience providing counseling services to adults, adolescents diagnosed with both Mental Health conditions and substance use disorders.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from my home country, the Philippines. I earned my Degree of Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have provided group and individual counseling using a narrative and process approach, pulling from other modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Family Systems Approach, Person-Centered Therapy, and SFT (Solution-Focused Therapy. I also have a background in building trust connections with children utilizing behavioral techniques.
