About My Clients
I work with individuals, young adults ages 14-25 and couples. I support clients in relieving symptoms of depression, anxiety as well as healing from grief, trauma, race based stress and burnout.
My Background and Approach
I am a relational psychotherapist with anti-oppression and trauma informed practices. I believe a warm and supportive connection between a client and therapist can be a powerful catalyst for healing. I view people as their whole selves, holding the connection between the mind, body and spirit. My clinical approach blends somatic practices and mindfulness skills with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while holding a psychodynamic framework. Visit my website to learn more about how I work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker of 14 years I have a deep commitment to social justice. In my perspectives I strive to undo anti-blackness, white supremacy, patriarchy, heteronormativity, capitalism and oppression. I am committed to the healing and growth of people of color, and white allies, in hopes of advancing racial and economic justice for our collective liberation.
