About My Clients

My ideal client is someone who feels like they’re always “on.” You might be the person who holds it all together - organized, responsible, dependable - but underneath, you feel tense, exhausted, or like you can’t fully rest. Even when things are going well, it can be hard to turn off the mental noise or quiet the sense that you should be doing more. Ultimately, my ideal client desires to feel enough. The work we do helps lower anxiety and reconnects you with that truth in an embodied way.

My Background and Approach

I have extensive training in working with adolescents and adults in various levels of care and my experience has taught me that its less about "being fixed" and more about using skills to ground. I integrate coping skills and somatic tools that help regulate the nervous system in real time such as breathing, grounding, orienting, and gentle movement so that you can begin to feel more present and steady in daily life. Alongside this, EMDR supports deeper processing of the experiences that may have taught your body to stay “on.” Together, these approaches help release stuck patterns and make space for new ways of responding to stress, relationships, and uncertainty. In our sessions, we slow things down and start to notice what’s happening inside the body as valuable information rather than something to fight against. By learning to listen to the body’s cues, we can begin to understand how your nervous system has adapted to keep you safe, even when those old patterns no longer serve you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don’t believe people need to be fixed, I believe they need support. Mental health challenges often develop as a result of insecure attachment, life experiences, and biological factors, not because something is “wrong” with you. Those who struggle with anxiety, trauma, or other challenges aren’t different or broken, they’re doing their best with what they’ve been given, often without ever having known true safety. Through my own therapy journey, I developed a passion for supporting those like me who never felt fully safe or seen, helping them experience what it’s like to feel understood and grounded in their own skin.
