I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from NDSU and a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, and those struggling with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
I am trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), both of which are used to treat a wide range of emotional challenges, including (but certainly not limited to) Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder. I have also been trained in ASIST, which allows me to help clients obtain safety when experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
My approach to therapy is casual! I have a therapist of my own, and I believe in a therapeutic relationship that is unpretentious and friendly. My hope is that individuals find a therapist that feels like the right fit for them, whomever that therapist may be.
