About My Clients
Are past traumas or current triggers making it difficult to be present, enjoy life or make meaningful connections? Do daily challenges leave you feeling submerged or disconnected? You do not have to navigate this alone. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment disorders, relationship and attachment issues, and a variety of other life challenges. I believe people have the capacity to change and overcome their struggles. I want to help get you there.
My Background and Approach
I have over 5 years of experience in working with individuals who have experienced trauma or other heavy hardships in their lives. What makes this practice unique is the balance of warmth and gentle challenge. I provide a compassionate space while also encouraging growth, even when that means stepping into temporary discomfort to make lasting and meaningful change. My approach is grounded in empathy, support ,encouragement and empowerment. I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to best meet the unique needs of each client. I have seen that with a combination of talk therapy and other evidence proven modalities people can overcome their past hurts and current struggles to feel in control and victorious in their lives. My goal is to help you move toward the life you want—one that feels rich, fulfilling, and meaningful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m deeply passionate about this work because I’ve always had a heart for helping others. Life can be incredibly hard—and even harder when it feels like you’re going through it alone. I have seen great changes be accomplished by clients because they had someone there to listen, support, and encourage them to keep going.
