About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming when emotions are intense, the past continues to show up in the body, or you feel disconnected from yourself. Therapy can be a space to understand what’s happening internally, and build a more solid relationship with your inner world. I enjoy working with individuals ages 13 and up, especially those navigating trauma, anxiety, bipolar disorder or disordered eating. My style is warm, direct, and always nonjudgmental.
My Background and Approach
My work is somatic and nervous-system informed, honoring the wisdom of both the mind and the body. I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand their internal world, increase self-leadership, and create lasting internal balance. I also integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, grounding, and healthier relationships. In addition, I am certified in hypnotherapy, which can offer a deeper sense of relaxation and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the core of my work, I believe that every person already carries the capacity to heal within them. Sometimes that healing just needs the right environment, one that feels safe, attuned, and compassionate. I deeply value authenticity and honoring each person’s lived experience. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a space where all identities are respected and celebrated. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship, and I feel continually inspired by the resilience and courage my clients bring into the room.
