About My Clients
You're already juggling so much; school assignments, friends, getting along with your parents, sports/music/other activities, dating, maybe even planning for what's after high school. It's hard when your gender identity and sexual orientation, parts of yourself, are not fully accepted or understood by the people around you. You feel like you just need a space to be yourself, so you can figure out who you are and who in your life is truly there to accept and support you no matter what.
My Background and Approach
As a play therapist, I walk alongside your child in expressing their needs and working through their issues. I provide additional parenting support by inviting you as the parent to participate in your child's growth and healing by offering parenting skills, coaching, and parent-counseling integration.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
If your child struggles with anxiety, shutting down, or tantrums, I get it. I understand how parenting children with anxiety, trauma, and attachment issues can be so draining. You try everything to help your child but nothing seems to help and you are worried that you may be a bad parent. Your child is worth the best care possible to set them up for life. Therapy can set them up for a future of healing, and growth. Whether you are adopting, fostering, going through a divorce, or simply having difficulty parenting, I can help your child heal, grow, and thrive.
