About My Clients
I specialize in supporting adults with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I particularly enjoy working with individuals also in these communities. While everyone’s experience is unique, at least for me, it can feel safer to know about some potentially shared identities!
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Xavier University’s Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program in 2022. I have clinical experience in a variety of settings including a hospital outpatient clinic, university counseling centers, and a group practice. I genuinely find it to be an honor to build trust with clients to share their inner experiences with me. From the time I began clinical work it has felt incredibly natural and fulfilling. I value deeply listening to clients’ perspectives, being nonjudgmental, and practicing cultural humility. I recognize and work to minimize the inherent power-imbalance within a therapeutic relationship; I view my clients as equally knowledgeable experts on themselves. I believe I learn as much from my clients as they learn from me, and if we work together, just know how much I appreciate the privilege of getting a glimpse into your life and who you are!
