About My Clients
You are doing it- you're finding a way to get through the day and navigate life happenings (both chosen and unchosen). We have our vices, ways of coping, in order to help us survive, with the hope of thriving. But we all get stuck too and feel overwhelmed- we're human. Still, it's hardest to give ourselves the room to grow and grieve and heal as a beautiful, imperfect, unique and worthy you. You are worth it.
My Background and Approach
I have had extensive experience in supporting those experiencing: grief/loss, intergenerational/cultural, complex trauma, spirituality/faith, anxiety/depression, self-esteem, life transitions, relational/support, identity related issues by tailoring sessions to best suit your needs, to empower going at your own pace. My approach is you-centered (an eclectic approach that adapts to what best fits your current needs) and includes self-compassion and identifying the connection between current stressors and your past experiences in order to bring light to the root issues preventing you from being wholly you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as Asian-American, having been born in Los Angeles by my immigrant parents and having navigated multiple cultures and generational differences throughout my life. Though I didn't have the language or know-how to describe, let alone validate, what I was experiencing or feeling, I have since been on my own journey of constantly learning and unlearning, healing and grieving, living and resting. The idea of investing my time, care, resources and self to holding spaces for others comes from a deep lived understanding that we all have our unique stories where most of us have not had the luxury, the language, the teaching to help us validate and navigate our own stories. I also have my own version of this process and constantly so. We both are doing it and I hope that you will choose, even a baby step, to invest in yourself by reaching out for a consult because you are worth it and deserve support that will help you not only survive, but live most meaningfully to you.
