About My Clients

I often work with adults who feel anxious, burned out, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in cycles of self-criticism and perfectionism. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, identity questions, grief, or the long-term impacts of trauma or complex trauma. Some clients come in knowing exactly what they want to work on, while others just know that something doesn’t feel right anymore. You don’t need the perfect words. We can figure things out together at your pace.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in community mental health, schools and universities, and immigrant and refugee mental health settings. These spaces shaped my belief that healing is not linear and that feeling safe and understood is foundational to meaningful change. My approach is trauma-informed, integrative, and responsive to your needs. I draw from EMDR, ACT, DBT, somatic therapy, parts work, and mindfulness to help you better understand what’s happening in your nervous system, process trauma when appropriate, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. I’m trained in EMDR and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT) and can offer specialized trauma treatment if desired. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in what feels most supportive and sustainable for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be affirming, anti-oppressive, and grounded in respect for each person’s autonomy and lived experience. I’m committed to identity-affirming care and to recognizing how systems, culture, and power shape mental health, not just individual symptoms. I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community and deeply value supporting queer and questioning clients in spaces that feel safe, respectful, and validating. My work has also been shaped by supporting immigrant and refugee communities, which informs how I show up with humility, curiosity, and care. I value authenticity, consent, and collaboration, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe being honest about who they are and what they need. Above all, I believe you are not broken. You are human, and healing is possible.
