Life throws curve balls that often knock us down and leave us blindsided–however, painful and difficult experiences do not have to define the essence of you as a person; rather those experiences can be a starting point to creating a more authentic, connected version of yourself. I have experience working with couples/relationship issues, families, children, adolescents, and adults.
My Background and Approach
My goal for you is to have at least five different tools and techniques that you can carry with you at all times. So no matter where you go, you'll always have access to coping skills that can quickly create relief. We'll work collaboratively to address the anxiety attacks that are bothering you right now. We'll start with what's going on in the moment and how to get control over your body and thoughts. I utilize various interventions which focus on your unique and individual needs. My approach is genuine, client-centered, holistic, encouraging, and creative. I strive to create a space in which judgment is withheld and emotional connection is created. You’re not alone on your journey through life, no matter how big or small a struggle may be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones.
