About My Clients

With a genuine passion for serving teens and young adults, I understand the specific needs and struggles faced by local young people. I partner with them on a transformative path towards emotional resilience and a happier, healthier life. Creating a secure and nurturing space, I empower my clients to courageously confront the issues they face. My commitment to honoring their privacy, authenticity, and willingness to share their stories ensures that they feel heard and valued.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I specialize in helping teens and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. My approach focuses on connection, communication, and coping, using evidence-based techniques like Emotionally Focused Therapy, trauma-informed care, and Attachment Theory. Together, we uncover root causes and build a plan based on the client’s goals. I teach practical skills to use between sessions, empowering clients to take an active role in their growth. I also collaborate with teachers, psychiatrists, and care teams to ensure well-rounded support. Whether working with young people or guiding parents through complex systems, I prioritize trust, emotional safety, and resilience every step of the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every teen and young adult deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported—especially when struggling with suicide, self-harm, or trauma. These experiences can feel isolating and overwhelming, but healing is possible. I view therapy as a courageous act of self-preservation and growth. My role is to walk alongside clients without judgment, helping them build emotional resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and reconnect with their inner strength. I believe in honoring each person’s story while gently guiding them toward hope and healing. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices, I create a secure space where clients can explore painful experiences at their own pace. I believe recovery happens through authentic connection, safety, and trust—and that with the right support, even the most painful chapters can lead to deep personal transformation and renewed purpose.
