About My Clients
I work with clients in all phases of life. Life transitions, infertility/family building challenges, bereavement, chronic illness, symptoms of anxiety, depression, and panic. I have specialized training in EMDR to treat trauma symptoms, and have also completed training in perinatal mental health. My clients are curious about themselves and the works, and striving to feel better and move toward lives with more connection and sense of self and purpose. “We are all more human than otherwise”
My Background and Approach
I have been in practice since 2005. I have worked in a variety of settings. I went to Bates College for undergrad, NYU for graduate school, competed a 2 year certificate program in psychodynamic Psychotherapy at ICP. I am trained in EMDR for trauma symptoms, DBT through Behavioral Tech, and perinatal mental health through PSI. I am warm, interactive, and curious. I aim to provide a growing space for clients, where it is safe to explore where you’ve been and where you want to go.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a human in the world who cares about other humans, animals, the planet. I strive to do and be better, and am in frequent self reflection on how to do that. I am curious about myself, my fellow humans, and the larger world. I am a parent of two young children, and seeing the world through their eyes has broadened my perspective.
