About My Clients

I work with children, teens, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure how to manage what they’re going through. I’m especially drawn to working with younger clients who are navigating emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, as well as teens who may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to express their emotions. I welcome clients of all ages who are looking for a supportive space to better understand themselves and build meaningful coping skills.

My Background and Approach

I offer tools that I have been developing through my clinical training, including my practicum and internship experience working with children, teens, and adults. My goal is for you to leave therapy with practical strategies you can actually use in your daily life, that help you manage overwhelming emotions, feel more in control, and respond to challenges with more confidence. I tend to have a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach. We’ll work together to find ways to make things feel more manageable. That might look like learning how to regulate your emotions in the moment, better understand your thoughts, or build healthier ways of coping with stress. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and everyday stressors. Together, we’ll focus on helping you connect what you’re experiencing emotionally with what’s happening in your body and thoughts, so you can respond in ways that feel grounded and intentional.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that people are capable of change and growth at any point in their lives. Sometimes we just need the right support, tools, and space to better understand what we’re going through. I believe that insight is important, but insight alone isn’t always enough. Many people already “know” why they feel the way they do but still feel stuck. Because of this, I value helping clients not only understand their emotions, but also truly connect with and process them in a meaningful way. I also believe that therapy should feel like a collaborative and supportive space, not a place where you feel judged or talked at. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help guide, support, and challenge you in ways that feel safe and productive. Above all, I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted as they are. I strive to create an inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds feel comfortable showing up fully as themselves.
