About My Clients
I work with women and young adults who feel everything deeply but rarely feel understood. They’re kind, thoughtful, and responsible—but secretly overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out. Whether they struggle with people-pleasing, relationship wounds, or an overactive inner critic, they’re ready for real change—not just coping, but healing.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist with experience working with anxiety, relational wounds, and clients who tend to live in their heads more than their bodies. I utilize IFS, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and attachment-focused work. Instead of quick fixes or generic advice, I offer a grounded, compassionate space where we slow down and understand why your patterns exist—not just how to change them. Together, we’ll get curious about the parts of you that protect, perform, or overthink, and help them soften so you can feel more ease and connection within yourself and in your relationships. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and real. We’ll laugh, cry, and untangle the hard stuff without judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I come from a Southern background, so I understand what it’s like to grow up around tradition, religion, and unspoken rules. Over time, I’ve chosen to redefine what “Southern” means to me — not silence or politeness, but kindness, accountability, and inclusion. I’m a feminist, affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, and aligned with racial justice movements like Black Lives Matter. I believe therapy should be a place where no part of you has to be hidden to be accepted.
