About My Clients

My clients are thoughtful, introspective people navigating complex trauma, identity exploration, forms of grieving, and intergenerational patterns. I have experience working with children of immigrants, LGBTQIA+, and highly sensitive/shy folks who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves.

My Background and Approach

I come from a background working in community mental health and as an expressive therapist in a psychiatric hospital, where I witnessed the resilience that arose when people were given space to tell their stories. I bring that same depth and curiosity into my work today, helping clients understand how stress, trauma, and family systems echo across generations and shape the way we love, protect, and express ourselves. I work from a trauma-informed, relational, and existential lens. Our sessions may include grounding, reflection, or gentle exploration of family and cultural narratives. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. Over time, you’ll learn to meet yourself with compassion, recognize inherited patterns, and grow a deeper awareness of your own voice and needs.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, neurodivergent, child of immigrants, I’m attuned to questions of belonging, identity, and intergenerational stories. I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, grief literacy, and creative, reflective forms of therapy that honor both shadow and growth. My work is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that healing involves getting to know all parts of ourselves, including the ones we tend to hide. I care about creating spaces where sensitivity, complexity, and difference are welcomed. Outside of sessions, I love spending time in nature, wandering used bookstores, practicing visible mending, experimenting in the kitchen, and joining death cafés for meaningful conversation.
