About My Clients
I work with thoughtful, high-performing adults who feel burned out, anxious, or overwhelmed, while juggling significant responsibility. Alongside burnout, many of my clients are individuals or couples navigating trauma, religious harm, identity exploration, or relationship challenges. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients and support people reconnecting with themselves after experiences of stress, pressure, or harmful systems.
My Background and Approach
My background includes work in mental health, advocacy, and nonprofit settings, which has shaped a perspective that recognizes how personal struggles are often connected to broader systems, environments, and life experiences. I approach therapy with curiosity, collaboration, and deep respect for your story. I integrate narrative therapy, EMDR, and somatic approaches to support healing on multiple levels. Narrative therapy helps us explore the stories that have shaped your identity and experiences, while EMDR can process trauma that continues to feel overwhelming. Somatic work supports your nervous system in moving out of chronic stress, toward greater internal regulation, and a feeling of safety within your own body. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in feminist, queer, and anti-oppressive values. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, while creating space for meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of my therapy work, I’m involved in local LGBTQ+ advocacy, including efforts that organize protests, and support equity, visibility, and collective care. I also offer healing spaces for folks processing religious trauma, and have been involved in work that brings together diverse religious communities to build trust, understanding, accountability, and meaningful reparative change to those that have been (and continue to be) harmed by religious institutions. This work involves community collaboration, providing education rooted in queer, feminist, disability, and critical race theories, and helping institutions conceptualize their participation in systemic injustice. These experiences continue to shape how I show up as a therapist, grounded in curiosity, connection, and a commitment to honoring people’s lived experiences. I value spaces where people can feel safe, brave, respected, honored, and supported as they explore who they are and what matters most to them.
