About My Clients
I work primarily with adults and couples (all genders) who have learned to be responsible early: high-achieving, deeply attuned to others, and carrying the weight of family expectations, guilt, or unspoken obligation, with love, loyalty, sacrifice, and duty often deeply intertwined. Many may be navigating intergenerational patterns, emotional inheritance, difficult family dynamics, boundaries that feel loaded with guilt or the tension of living between cultures or identities.
My Background and Approach
I work from a psychodynamic perspective, which means we pay close attention to the patterns you learned early in life, especially the ones that still shape how you relate, cope, and make sense of yourself. I help you notice these patterns as they show up in real time in how you feel, respond, and move through your relationships. My goal is to help you build an understanding of how old emotional lessons help you navigate the days and what it might look like to choose differently with more awareness, flexibility, and self-trust. My style is thoughtful, engaged, and relational, and I pay attention not only to what you share, but to how you experience yourself in our shared space.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply fascinated by people and humanity, both as a writer and as someone who has lived all over the world. I feel especially passionate about using my lived experience and shared identities to support folx from East Asia, South Asia, West Asia, the Middle East East and those who are refugees, immigrants and Third Culture Kids. I am identity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ allied, and a believer in holding a therapeutic space wide enough to hold all of you in every form.
