Knowledgeable and skilled at working with clients, or their caregivers to help understand, and manage symptoms of ADHD. I prefer to work with clients to come up with solutions that work for them, not against them, when managing ADHD.

Untreated ADHD can cause distress, anxiety, depression, feelings of incompetence, and worthlessness, and long term effects. People with untreated ADHD are more at risk for suicide, substance use, and being under-employed. I work with individuals to help identify how ADHD is affecting them, provide psychoeducation, and help implement effective interventions to manage symptoms and reduce the individual's distress.

LGBTQIA+ folks are at higher risk of a slew of mental health, and physical health issues, often stemming from other people's bias and discrimination of their gender identity and/or sexuality. I strive to create an inclusive, strength based space for people to bravely explore their identities, and cope with the adversity they are facing. Whether you are just starting your journey, or are well on your way, I hope I can help you express your authentic self with pride.

ACT is an inclusive and affirming therapy practice that helps you identify your values, accept yourself for who you are, and make meaningful change to help your life align with your values. ACT helps people recognize and accept difficult and painful feelings, embrace challenge, and learn how to make meaning from difficult situations and still live a life aligned with your values.

People relate to one another through stories. Since the beginning of time stories have helped people make sense of their experiences. Stories can help people make meaning of the difficult, and traumatic things they have experienced. I utilize elements of Narrative Therapy and Narrative Exposure Therapy to support my clients with telling their story and finding meaning, even in their worst experiences.

Since before humans could read or write they have been relating to themselves and others through stories. Myths, legends, and oral histories have helped people make meaning of their experiences. I utilize Narrative Therapy and Narrative Exposure Therapy to support my clients with telling their own stories, and making meaning of the terrible things they have experienced.

I’m skilled at supporting autistic folks with exploring how being autistic impacts them throughout their life. I work with my autistic clients to help increase their ability to identify their emotions, recognize what they need, and develop self-care plans to help manage life’s challenges. I take care to help my clients navigate the world while autistic and help them access supports.

Too much of the world is uncertain and you shouldn’t have to feel like picking a therapist is a gamble. Queer folks deserve to work with people that can provide compassionate, radical acceptance and support while helping them move towards their goals. I try to be that person.

Solution Focused therapy is collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate SF work into most sessions as it helps elicit memories of when my clients had success, and calls upon their strengths to help them with their current challenges.

What if instead of trying to change how we think and feel we learned how to accept our thoughts and feelings (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and accomplish our goals? ACT involves identifying your values, learning mindfulness and regulation skills, goal setting, as well as skill building to help people live more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
