About My Clients
Folks who work with me tend to fall into a few categories that often overlap: Religious Deconstructors: Healing from purity culture, spiritual abuse, and family pressure, High-Achieving Overthinkers: Perfectionists exhausted from people-pleasing and over-functioning, Somatic Seekers: Moving beyond talk therapy to get nervous system relief via Brainspotting, and Queer, Trans & BIPOC Folks: Seeking culturally affirming care without needing to explain your identity.
My Background and Approach
My approach integrates three core modalities: 1) Brainspotting: Bypassing overthinking to access the subcortical brain, processing stored tension, panic, and physical trauma responses at the nervous system level, 2) Parts Work (IFS): Helping you understand the perfectionist, overthinking, or people-pleasing parts of yourself with curiosity instead of shame so you can stop self-abandoning. 3) Culturally Affirming & Spirituality-Informed Care: Safe space to deconstruct dogmatic religion, examine inherited family roles, and reclaim your values on your own terms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in values that honor your humanity, autonomy, and lived experience. I provide anti-oppressive and affirming care that recognizes the impact of systemic oppression, Christian nationalism, racism, and heteronormativity on your nervous system. I also believe healing should extend beyond the therapy room, which is why I donate 10% of quarterly profits to land back efforts and organizations supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ mental health services.
