About My Clients

I am here to listen and help you take the first steps to build your confidence and develop the skills to overcome the challenges you and your family are experiencing
My Background and Approach
I have four years of experience working in Community Mental Health field providing Home-Based therapy to children, teens, young adults, and their families. For the past two years, I have also provided outpatient teletherapy to children, teens, and young adults. I believe in an inclusive approach that is centered around the needs and desires of my clients. I have spent much of my professional career working with individuals experiencing family conflict or divorce, anxiety, and depression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe we all have individualized needs and strengths, and strong relationships are the key to success. I work closely with my clients to help them enhance their relationships with those around them to empower them, build their resiliency, and strengthen their support systems. I help my clients to identify their strengths and teach them to utilize these strengths, and develop skills to overcome the challenges they are experiencing. I, also, believe therapy should be fun. I often incorporate creative elements, such as drawing, writing, story telling, and games into my sessions. This helps me to connect with my clients on a more meaningful level while cultivating important skills, working towards their goals and helping them to overcome their challenges.
