About My Clients
I work with a diverse range of clients, including children, teens, adults, and couples. My ideal clients are those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relational conflicts. I enjoy helping children and teens build resilience while supporting adults and couples in managing stress and improving communication. I create a safe, empathetic space for exploration and healing, empowering clients to better understand themselves and their relationships.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a solid foundation in mental health, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and family and relational issues. My experience allows me to effectively support clients through their unique challenges. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns. This technique empowers individuals to develop healthier coping strategies, leading to improved emotional well-being. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I create a safe space for exploration and growth. My goal is to help you understand your experiences, build resilience, and foster healthier relationships. By working together, we can navigate your challenges and move toward a more fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the potential for change and growth at any stage of life. There are no limits to human capacity. Often, mental health challenges arise from unhealthy learned behaviors, which means we can unlearn those patterns and replace them with healthier ones. By shifting your perspective, you can transform your attitude. As a former collegiate volleyball player at the University of Oregon, I enjoy watching and discussing the sport.
