About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults navigating Bipolar II disorder, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood-related challenges. I have a particular passion for helping individuals with Bipolar II better understand their mood patterns, manage depressive and hypomanic episodes, and achieve greater emotional stability. My approach emphasizes personalized treatment, medication management, education, and genuine connection to help clients feel understood, empowered, and supported in their mental wellness
My Background and Approach
I'm Haley McRaven, PMHNP-BC, founder of Bren Collective Wellness. My background in nursing and psychiatric care has shaped my belief that meaningful healing begins with connection, understanding, and individualized treatment. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with a particular interest in Bipolar II disorder, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotional regulation. I recognize that Bipolar II is often misunderstood or misdiagnosed, and I am passionate about helping clients better understand their symptoms and achieve lasting stability. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based care. I take time to listen, explore the factors influencing mental health, and explain not just what we're treating, but why. Together, we develop a personalized plan that considers medication, lifestyle, coping strategies, and long-term wellness. My goal is for every client to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with connection and that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected. Mental health is not one-size-fits-all, and no individual should be defined by a diagnosis. I believe in treating the whole person, recognizing how our experiences, relationships, physical health, and environment influence emotional well-being. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, particularly Bipolar II disorder, which is often misunderstood. I believe education creates empowerment, and understanding the “why” behind symptoms can be just as important as treating them. My philosophy is rooted in compassion, authenticity, collaboration, and the belief that meaningful progress happens when patients are active participants in their care. Medication can be a valuable tool, but lasting wellness also involves building resilience, developing healthy coping strategies, and creating a life that feels balanced, fulfilling, and genuinely your own.
