About My Clients
My clients tend to be capable, responsible adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or stuck in repeating patterns. Many are professionals managing demanding careers, relationship stress, or the lingering effects of earlier life experiences. They tend to be used to solving problems on their own, yet find that insight alone hasn't created the change they want.
My Background and Approach
My work is trauma-informed, relational, and skills-integrated. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, DBT, and attachment-focused interventions while keeping the therapeutic relationship at the center of the work. Clients describe my approach as direct, collaborative, and refreshingly honest. I believe therapy should balance insight with practical change, helping you understand how patterns function as well as how to change them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that mental health does not exist in isolation from the world around us. Current events, political climates, systemic pressures, and identity-based experiences all shape how people experience stress, safety, opportunity, and emotional well-being. Anxiety, burnout, or hypervigilance are often not simply personal problems to "fix", but understandable responses to complex environments and lived experiences. My goal is to create a space where both personal responsibility and contextual understanding coexist, allowing for growth that is both compassionate and empowering.
