About My Clients

My clients are women and parents carrying the invisible weight of motherhood, complex family dynamics, and sensory burnout. I specialize in the intense shifts of the postpartum period, survivors of birth or medical trauma, and families dealing with perinatal loss. I also provide neuroqueer-affirming care for late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults, and parents advocating for children with Autism, ADHD, or medical needs. If you're overwhelmed by caregiving burnout, I am here to help you.

My Background and Approach

I hold a PhD and MSW from the University of Alabama. My approach is rooted in the clinical understanding that trauma is not just a cognitive memory, it is deeply embedded in your nervous system. Because trauma and anxiety live in the body, I utilize "bottom-up" processing, including Brainspotting and somatic techniques. My goal is never to "rush" you through your discomfort or "optimize" your performance for the sake of productivity. Instead, we work at your unique pace to provide the clinical scaffolding necessary to safely process distressing events, release physical tension, and move you out of survival mode. I combine doctoral-level clinical expertise with clinical training leading to profound empathy to help you navigate the physical and psychological weight of life's transitions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe intentionality is a radical act. My clinical work is heavily informed by my lived experience as a mother, birth trauma survivor, feminist writer, and parent advocate for children with disabilities. I know firsthand the messy, beautiful complexity of being human, and I bring all parts of myself into the therapeutic relationship. I do not believe in pathologizing your experiences or your neurodivergence. Our world demands too much conformity and hustle. My practice is designed to be a completely judge-free, safe container where we honor your body’s wisdom. I aim to help you find a deep, synchronized rhythm with your own nervous system, allowing you to show up authentically for yourself and your loved ones without burning out. You deserve a space where you do not have to mask or perform.
