About My Clients

My ideal clients are South Asian and Muslim women, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, family expectations, and identity struggles. You might be lying awake replaying conversations, wondering if you're good enough, or scrolling social media feeling like everyone else has it figured out. You're tired of pretending you have it all together while drowning in your own thoughts.

My Background and Approach

I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to supporting women, young adults, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, bi-cultural identity, family conflict, and intergenerational trauma.I work with individuals managing childhood trauma, eldest daughter syndrome, neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism), relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also provide premarital counseling for Muslim couples preparing for marriage, offering culturally and religiously informed support. My approach is warm, compassionate, and authentic—no fake positivity, no generic advice. I understand the unique pressures facing BIPOC and Muslim communities: imposter syndrome, family expectations, career transitions, identity struggles, and balancing multiple cultural identities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be real—no fake positivity, no generic advice that ignores your cultural context. You deserve support that actually fits your life, your values, and your community. As a therapist serving South Asian and Muslim communities, I'm passionate about creating accessible mental health care that honors religious values and cultural identity.I understand the unique pressures facing Muslim women—managing family expectations while pursuing personal goals, navigating cultural and religious identity in Western contexts, and the isolation of feeling caught between worlds. I believe you can honor your faith and culture while also taking care of your mental health—these aren't mutually exclusive.I'm committed to dismantling mental health stigma in BIPOC and Muslim communities. Mental health struggles aren't signs of weak faith or family failure—they're human experiences that deserve compassionate, culturally informed support.
