About My Clients

I work with adults navigating anxiety, identity exploration, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are immigrants, creatives, queer folks, or neurodivergent individuals who feel out of sync with dominant systems. They often arrive feeling overwhelmed or unseen, struggling to find language for their pain. I offer a space for slowing down, making meaning, and reconnecting with your inner truth.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU and offer therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese. My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), grounded in an existential and person-centered frame. I work from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens, honoring your pace and complexity. Clients describe me as warm, curious, and grounded. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals exploring the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and family expectations. My background as a classical pianist informs my interest in creative, embodied, and non-linear healing. Whether we’re talking or using art and metaphor, I aim to help you reclaim parts of yourself, deepen insight, and cultivate greater freedom.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is not about fixing what’s broken but remembering what’s still alive. I’m a queer, neurodivergent, international therapist who deeply values complexity and nuance. I care about intersectionality, decolonizing mental health, and creating therapeutic spaces where all identities are welcome, especially those that have felt marginalized or pathologized. Outside of therapy, I’m a classical musician and lifelong writer. I’m nourished by art, poetry, nature, and moments of reflection. These interests often shape the way I think about healing, as something poetic, relational, embodied, and brave.
