About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients on issues related to ADHD, life transitions, navigating the college/young adult stage, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD (including narcissistic abuse), Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), depression, and anxiety. I also love working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients.
My Background and Approach
I take a client-centered, solution-focused approach that highlights each client's strengths. My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you feel safe to share. I seek to work alongside you and encourage your growth as you pursue your therapeutic goals. I'm an ADHD therapist who specializes in providing compassionate and effective treatment for individuals struggling with ADHD symptoms. I can help you to not only understand your symptoms, but also to develop the skills and strategies you need to manage them and improve your daily functioning. I am also deeply committed to providing affirming and empowering care to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you are seeking support around issues related to gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship dynamics, or mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, I am here to offer compassionate, expert care.
My Values as a Therapist
I seek to provide you with authentic support where a solid foundation for trust can develop. My hope is that through therapy, you can form a deeper connection with yourself and your personal strengths in order to improve your quality of life and overall well-being. I consider that every person has their own purpose for seeking therapy and that treatment isn’t “one size fits all.” I believe that all factors in human existence — personal, environmental, and cultural — play a role in treatment. I strive to see you through the lens of your own unique experiences and worldviews, and to tailor treatment to best fit your needs.
