About My Clients
Sometimes , a person simply wants to understand why they feel the way they do, and learn how to feel safer in their body, relationships, and daily life while building a stronger sense of identity and direction. Healing is not linear, sometimes even painful but it can happen in a safe environment and with the right support.
My Background and Approach
As a recent graduate, I am coming into therapy with experience of 5 years working with individuals that struggle with addiction, mental health concerns, life transitions, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship difficulties.I like to offer a holistic, trauma informed, and acceptance approach with a blend of interventions in Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, and Existential/Humanistic Therapy. I like to support overall wellbeing in healing, awareness, value and strength based growth, and lasting change.Whether you're processing trauma, navigating transitions and/or relationships, questioning yourself, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to face it alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, heal, process, make sense of experiences, and reconnect with yourself. I aim to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where growth feels possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs fall in the category of Spirituality and open mind to learn about other religions. I am part of the LGBT community, and work closely with young adults that identify with the LGBT community.
