About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals and couples struggling with relationship conflict, grief, stress, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. You may feel stuck in emotional patterns or long for deeper connection. If you're ready to explore your deepest feelings, build emotional resilience, and actively work toward healthier connections with yourself and others, I'm here to come along side you to learn more about yourself and/or you and your partner.
My Background and Approach
Therapy is a collaborative process. While I bring professional expertise and evidence-based techniques, you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll work to identify what’s working, what’s not, and what changes might serve you better. My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory, which recognizes our innate human need for connection and how our early experiences shape our relational patterns throughout life. I believe that many of our struggles, whether in our relationships or within ourselves, often stem from unmet needs for safety, understanding, and belonging. In our work together, we'll explore these core needs and the patterns that might be keeping you stuck. I specialize in couples counseling, and I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Using EFT, I help couples identify and understand their emotional patterns, which allows them to move from conflict and disconnection to a place of greater intimacy and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I'm not in a session, I believe in nurturing my own well-being through the activities that bring me joy and a sense of grounding. My family—my husband, who is also my best friend, and our two young daughters—are my greatest source of inspiration and balance. We love to explore the outdoors together on hikes or find a quiet moment in my garden. In my spare time, I have a passion for cooking, which has grown to include the rewarding hobby of maintaining a sourdough starter. Much like the process of nurturing my children, or tending to my garden, I find that the journey of growth in therapy and relationships requires patience, care, and attunement of emotional connection. These personal pursuits help me stay grounded and connected to the beautiful, unfolding process of life.
