About My Clients

I work with adults, couples, and families, navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, grief, and self-esteem concerns. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying responsibilities while trying to hold everything together. I also support neurodivergent individuals seeking greater self-understanding, practical strategies, and a life that works with their brain, not against it.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and founder of Hey, You Need Therapy. I work with adults, couples, families, and preteens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, self-esteem concerns, and neurodivergence. My approach is collaborative, direct, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused interventions. Together, we'll explore patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to distress while developing practical tools to support meaningful growth and change. Clients often describe me as compassionate, relatable, and honest. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be authentic, challenged enough to grow, and supported enough to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. As a therapist, I value authenticity, curiosity, personal accountability, and creating a space where clients can show up as their full selves without fear of judgment. As a military-connected therapist, I understand the unique challenges that can come with service, transition, identity, and balancing multiple roles and responsibilities. I am passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and creating an affirming, inclusive environment where all clients feel respected and valued. Outside of therapy, I am a business owner, parent, lifelong learner, and advocate for mental health awareness. I believe therapy should be accessible, practical, and empowering, and I am committed to helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lives that feel aligned with their values and goals.
