Let’s start by understanding what brought you here. Maybe you’ve been dealing with unexplained symptoms and unsuccessful treatments, or maybe you’re just ready to make healthy lifestyle changes to achieve a state of optimal health. Whatever it may be, we take the time to understand you, your goals and your symptoms in order to determine what needs healing first.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Farah is a therapist with board certifications in psychiatry and more than 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. He is trained to work with individuals and families. He completed his psychiatric training at Wayne State University and further specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he continues to serve as faculty. He has received additional training in psychotherapy at the Michigan and Oregon Psychoanalytic Institutes, at The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Washington, DC, and with the Parent Hope Project in Sydney, Australia.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With a deep appreciation for each person’s unique story, Dr. Farah takes the time to listen, helping individuals uncover underlying patterns, reconnect with their strengths, and discover natural paths to recovery. He draws on psychodynamic psychotherapy, behavioral approaches, and family systems therapy.
