About My Clients
I work with teens and young adults who often feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, ADHD-related struggles, trauma, eating concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel like they are holding everything together on the outside while feeling stressed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves underneath. They often want to feel more steady, more confident, and more connected to who they are.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based work, and Brainspotting to help you navigate the tough stuff in a way that feels supportive and manageable. In session, we slow things down, explore emotional patterns, and make space for what you are carrying so you can feel more grounded and self-aware over time. I also integrate trauma-informed and acceptance-based approaches depending on what fits your needs. I bring experience working across a variety of settings, including residential treatment, rehabilitation programs, psychiatric hospitals, and school-based environments, which has shaped a flexible and well-rounded approach to care. I am currently a PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Georgia, which continues to deepen my clinical training, research foundation, and commitment to ethical, evidence-based, relational therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, human, and rooted in genuine connection. I strive to create a space where people feel accepted as they are, without judgment or pressure to present a “perfect” version of themselves. I am affirming of LGBTQ+ identities and deeply value creating an inclusive space where clients can explore identity, relationships, and self-understanding freely and safely. I care deeply about reducing stigma and helping people feel less alone in what they are going through. At the core of my work, I believe people are resilient and capable of growth when they are met with compassion, understanding, and support.
