About My Clients

Youth and adults of all-genders, sexual orientations, and their families who are seeking hope and individual, interpersonal, and intergenerational healing. 2SLGBTQIA+ identified youth and adults of marginalized identities, as well as families seeking improved sense of connection and strengthened communication.

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, relational, playful, trauma-informed, and depth-focused. I believe in the inherent goodness within all people and focus on one's strengths and abilities in order to support growth and resilience. I use an integrative approach that addresses client concerns through a larger context, such as family of origin structure, greater societal norms (patriarchy), structural racism, and others. I have been working with youth, adults, and families in community mental health since 2019. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMFTA) in Washington State and I hold a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. I am a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and Washington Mental Health Care Association (WMHCA).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I identify as white, queer, and trans* masculine and I have found much of my own healing and connection within queer and trans* community. I commit to bringing awareness of white privilege and supremacy to my work as a counselor. I aim to support others in strengthening their own awareness and actions to decolonize and create liberation by dismantling white supremacy, patriarchy, heteronormativity, and cisnormativity. I practice meditation as means to connect and care for myself and I find spending time in nature to be a grounding place, thus I love to incorporate mindfulness techniques and ecotherapy in practice. I find joy in spending time with animals, gardening, cooking, hiking, studying Astrology, and making pottery.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Buddhism
  • Christianity
  • Wicca/Paganism
