About My Clients
I work uniquely well with emotionally-driven/inclined (sensitive) and ADHD-types (creative, artistic, problematic at times, allergic to boredom), addressing matters like depression, anxiety/worry, self-esteem/self-image, relationship stuff, family stuff, trauma/blockages/stuckness. I also often mesh fittingly with those on a mindful path, those propelled to continue to grow, evolve.
My Background and Approach
Some of us are plagued by a sense that something is inherently wrong with us, with life. Some of us feel something is somehow 'off'; we are struggling and aren't exactly sure why. Our pain and problems are alchemized when we uncover compassion for our ailing parts. I understand this because I continue to experience its truth. In our sessions, I help create the safe, supportive feel necessary for exploring the darker, more challenging aspects within. This is done by providing a kind, gentle, interactive listening space- an atmosphere where you can feel heard, understood, & accepted as you are. This allows the magic to work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
True tale: Once there was an Italian town that became known for its quaintness, its down-to-earth way of life, and for the fact that the age expectancy was often into the 100s. The townspeople grew their own vegetables, played chess in the square, old women gossiped on the steps. After a while, folks began to hear of this town and their curiosity piqued. Tourists arrived, seekers sought, doctors and scientists came to investigate. Soon the locals began to retreat, feeling scrutinized under this microscope. Their town lost its way of life, it’s humanity, it’s decency—it’s organicity. The median age of death slowly leveled out closer to that of the rest of the world. Old men no longer played chess in the square, old women ceased gossiping on the steps. People took to using grocery stores to obtain their vegetables. I will strive to leave your town intact- to be akin to the summer breeze in the parlor, the ocean air across the coastal meadow, the chipped paint of the fisherman's boat.
