I strongly believe that there is no one right way to have a relationship, I love working with patients in defining and putting into practice the best and healthiest boundaries and structures that work in their lives. I approach relationship counseling without judgment, and support clients in building the most gratifying relationships for them.

I have significant experience working with trans patients over the past 6 years, and would love to support patients in connecting to additional care as needed, navigating relational dynamics, or the medical process, depending on the clients' needs.

I would like to become a fierce ally in creating a more positive, less stressful or less painful relationship between a client and their body. I have experience and interest in working with those in larger bodies (though I welcome clients in all body sizes), managing the fatphobia that is so present in our culture here in the US. This relationship suffering may manifest as self esteem issues, shame, avoidance, anxiety or depression.

The relationship between a therapist and client is a space for reparative experiences, understanding and perhaps practicing new skills. It's an honor and pleasure to meet and understand each client as an individual, and explore and identify ways you as a person can feel empowered and make the changes that are important to you.

As a therapist my goal is to empower each client to assert themself, advocate for themself and their loved ones, and to engage in care and rest despite the oppressive systems we exist in. In the therapeutic space I acknowledge the power dynamics in the room in efforts to dismantle them there, and support clients to minimize harm from these systems when possible. I acknowledge and honor the inherent skills, dignity and capacity every human being has.

I believe strongly that the relationships with our primary caregivers impact our habits and relationships now. If you are struggling with repeating patterns, unfulfilling relationships or boundaries, I hope to support you in identifying these patterns, and enacting change.
