About My Clients
Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck? Balancing work, relationships, family expectations, and personal goals can feel exhausting. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship strain, or navigating a life transition and want support that feels practical, culturally aware, and non-judgmental. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, build coping skills, and feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
My Background and Approach
I help clients slow down, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and develop tools to cope more effectively. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions, using a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. I offer practical skills alongside space for reflection and understanding. I take a strengths-based approach and focus on building on what's already working for you. Our sessions may include practical tools from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, always tailored to your needs. I also integrate body-based grounding techniques to help you feel more regulated, present, and connected.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value therapy that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and rooted in social justice. I believe mental health cannot be separated from our identities, communities, and lived experiences. Growing up in the Punjabi community, I often saw mental health concerns go unaddressed due to stigma, lack of access, and cultural expectations. These experiences shaped my decision to enter this field and continue to guide my work I have been deeply committed to serving underserved and marginalized communities, particularly individuals whose mental health needs intersect with systemic barriers. I strive to create a non-judgmental, collaborative space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered.
