I thoroughly enjoy helping others to find their internal and unacknowledged strengths. I appreciate the opportunity to help my clients think of themselves differently than they have been lead to believe, both by others and by themselves. I hope to help you better understand yourself, as well as your fundamental importance to the world.

Sexuality, especially outside of the supposed "norm," has historically been categorized as deviant, wrong, abnormal. I vehemently disagree and believe that sexual expression is a basic human right that no one has the right to judge. I strive to create an environment of understanding and validation that helps those who have been told they are wrong realize that they are healthy human beings worthy of a fulfilling life.

I offer couples counseling with specific Gottman Method techniques to help couples better communication, connect, and discover the underlying patterns/emotions of their interactions. I also utilize Emotion-Focused Therapy to help relationships develop more intimacy, transparency, and understanding.

Existential therapy provides clients with a mirror with which to see how they are in the world, as well as building a strong therapeutic relationship based on authenticity, genuineness, and empathy that helps clients to better understand themselves and their world.

Experiential therapy offers exercises designed to improve self-awareness, as well as to discover underlying emotions and unconscious beliefs that can better come to the forefront when experienced versus purely thinking about or talking about. It allows for an externalized experience which creates improved understanding for clients, which can then lead to change.
